Ford Focus alloy problems!

Hi all, I drive a 14 plate Ford Focus 1.5 tdci, I’ve had the car nearly a year and a half but been having problems with the tyres/valves letting air out, the ford dealership I bought the car have tried to fob me off a few times with saying it was the tyres, then the tyre pressure monitors playing up. It was supposedly fixed under the warranty but hasn’t, the car was back in the garage the other day as the problem was still happening! This time ford said that I need 4 new alloys due to them being corroded inside and that the metal was slicing the valves on the tires, seems a bit of a strange problem as the car is only a few years old? Anyways ford have admitted that the problem should have been sorted under warranty and I’m getting new 4 new alloys from them instead of being billed £1000! Has anyone else had alloy problems like this?

ive heard of corrosion to the wheels where the tyre valve goes through on ecosport, and that was with metal tyre valves . are yours metal valves or rubber?

Rubber I think, I would have to check properly as I wouldn’t believe a word that the garage are telling me, it just seems a bit strange that corrosion can set in within a few years
