Car trouble

Featured Replies

Hi I've got my Ford Focus Ghia a few weeks ago and she's got a red engine light on. Now every time I go up a hill she starts to loose power and her turbo is intermittent. Now I drove her to Nottingham on Saturday and on the way back home, she kept jerking and stalled on the M40. I managed to get her on to the A34 Lay-by, but she kept stalling when I get needle was under thousand RPM and then after me getting her to the Lay-by, she was struggling to keep on, so I turned off my engine and she completely died on me. The other day after getting national recovery to get us both home, she was jump started and she was OK. I did have a very low battery when my Grandfather put the multimeter on, but this morning, when she was disconnected and put on my Grandfather battery charger at his place, her battery shot up. There is more problems, with the electrics and windows and all that. Any ideas, I think it's the information cluster.
