What is this part next to the oil sump offside with a plastic cover it seems to be getting covered in oil it's right below the driveshaft am I correct in guessing the shaft has a leak?

    gear box selector shafts oil on it is probably off the road you can just unclip the cover of this box to see the selectors

    I find it hard to believe you’ve picked oil up from the road. A leaking selector seal more likely. Pull the plastic cover off to inspect.
