Its only a tiny feature anyways! not like you'll miss it, I mean you could always press they key anyway haha.  I'm hoping to up from 2 to 3 after this upgrade, don't fancy paying over 1500 for an infotainment system haha so this should prepare the car in most ways.

Yeah it’s a very straightforward swap to sync 3. I don’t use the switch because the doors don’t unlock when the ignition is off. In the event of an accident nobody could get in.

From what I've read it is.  :O Really? I actually didn't know that, I came from a Fiat Punto which in the event of an accident would detect crumpling and release the door locks.  That's worth knowing :O

To be fair it may well do, but I’d rather leave em open just in case 😂 I live In sleepy ol Norfolk, not much chance or a carjacking round here either 😂

Sunday is the day! I’m currently 120 miles from home having a few drinks, I literally cannot wait to get back and get started! First job is gonna be to remove the seats and wet vac them, then the fun begins!

After yesterday’s long day of installation today I have been sorting out The programming side of things and I’m pleased to report I have all features and up and running. A completely successful upgrade.

😂 there will indeed it’s gonna take me a little while to put it together, as even with the best prep in the world there were still a few things that caught me out! I took some photos but probably not as many as I should have done. However once you get your head around what needs to be done it’s actually quite straightforward 👍🏻

No rush... Take your time.

Today would be good though! Or sooner.
