Mondeo sat nav iPod problems

Featured Replies

I have just bought a 2013 business edition with sat nav built in. I have a problem with iPod playing back. I can use all the ipid menus through the car but it won't play. Just looks like it's paused but pause isn't pressed. Any suggestions? Does the nav unit have a pin number? I was thinking of pulling the fuse to reset it but don't want to if it has a pin code as I don't think I have one

Is there anyway to get the serial number up without removing the nav system?

There's a Ford audio update that you can install via a USB stick which updates the audio and allows the sound to play from iPhones - I had to do this on my car. It drove me nuts trying to work it out until I found this forum. If you follow the instructions in the following link it should sort it out.
