engine malfunction and spanner light

hi i have a 2008 2.2 tdci galaxy the engine malfunction light and spanner comes on no power loss no limp mode have done the service reset still no joy no faults show on a code reader not sure what it can be any ideas cheers

    It maybe worth checking the differential pressure hose's?

    If faulty they can light the EML lamp whilst not causing any apparent driving issues
