Headunit sat nav

Featured Replies

Hi all. Recently purchased a xtrons android head unit. Rather impressed. It has built in satnav which is alright, but it dims the music every time it want to tell me a direction. Even with the sound muted on the app the music still dims! Instructions that came with it are useless. Does anyone else have this issue (maybe wrong word?)? Or has any xtrons owner installed a different satnav app like google maps (offline version)? I have googled this but not much is said! Thanks in advance!

Anyone?

It's been a while since I used Android, but this was never the way it worked if you muted the sat nav on a phone with music playing IIRC. What version of Android is the radio running on? You should ideally be on Oreo (Android 8.0)

I couldn't tell you what version right now. It's a Xtrons td619g if that's any help to you

Looks like it's a Windows CE unit.
