low rev hesitant 2.0 tdci 163 focus

Featured Replies

iv had the titanium x 2012 tdci 163 focus for 3 weeks .it runs beautifully with the exception of a low rev hesitancy whilst driving at about 30 or so at any where between 1000 and 2000 revs. its fine after that. feels like a fuel starvation type of lumpiness. it makes me want to rev it higher to get over this point. was thinking mayb fuel filter but it runs so smooth above these revs. any ideas anyone.

have you tried cleaning the EGR Valve or Turbo Boost Solenoid - ive not had a diesel since my Vauxhall days, but these always caused similar problems on the CDTI's.
