Is there anywhere where i can go to get and online parts catalogue to get part numbers etc .

It was easy to find this out for Vauxhall but seems a bit more difficult for Ford .

Just made it so much easier to order stuff if you can get the correct part numbers .

I use (7zap) Ford parts catalogue for my 2 Focuses and the finnis codes have always matched up once I checked it with a Ford stealer.

I use that site, and another, and then use the finnis code to search eBay as a lot of dealers sell parts on there (Rates, Trust, Vospers)

I tend to search 'Ford Focus xxxxxxx' or 'Genuine Ford xxxxxxx'

I find it much easier than dealing with a huffy dealer face to face (when you ask them for the part number they just gave you a ridiculous price for).  As you rightly say most of the "big" Ford dealers have their own ebay stores and in my experience seem to be a lot happier confirming part numbers etc through ebay than over the phone/face to face.
