Mondeo MK4 noise

Featured Replies

Hi all, my mums 2009 Mondeo MK4 has developed a strange noise (I tried to capture it on video but it won't pick it up but is very present) it sounds like a wheel bearing but that has been replaced the mechanic has had pretty much the whole car apart and can't find anything, it's a strange rumbling sound that the noise stays the same regardless of speed, anyone have any ideas?

Thank you.

Exhaust catching on the body, rear box is often the culprit, broken mount could be the cause, check the mounts
