Loss of power intermittently

My car loses power every now and I have to keep either changing gear or pump accelerator until power comes back.  Only lasts a few seconds but not good on motorway. Any ideas anyone.

    sounds like boggy injectors... try using wynns injector cleaner or something similar... pour whole bottle into half a tank of fuel and go for a merry jaunt... I use the diesel one every 4000miles in my old girl and she loves it ;-)
