CD 6000 replacement part numbers

Featured Replies

I have been having problems with my CD 6000 unit switching from radio to phone and being unable to manually switch it back, I have just waited until it goes back to radio by itself, and now more recently the sound has gone very tinny but occasionally sounds ok, as such I have come to the conclusion that the head unit has had it and needs to be changed.

I removed the radio today so I could find the serial number 7S7T-18C815-BA and did a search on eBay, unfortunately all the head units on there seem to have some of the silver colour missing on some of the buttons, I know it's only minor if the radio works but I know it would bug me, anyway finally getting to the point I have seen the same shape head units from Focus and Galaxy's etc. with different serial numbers , 8S7T-18C815-AA , 7S7T-18C815-AB and I just wondered if these would still work without any problems?

Any help would be appreciated.

Oops! Spot my typo above, obviously I was meaning radio part numbers not serial numbers
