Sensor screwed into the dpf

Featured Replies

Hi all. Wondered if I could pick someone's brain. I have a mk4 mondeo 2.0 tdci 140 titanium, I have changed the exhaust including the dpf. There is a sensor with 2 wires coming out of it screwed into the dpf that I can't get out for love nor money. Is this a lambda (O2) sensor? Does anyone have a part number please. I am tearing my hair out as the ones I look at on flea bay say they fit but are all have 5 leads. Am I being daft and it's a temp sensor? Thanks Kevin

Looks like a temp sensor if I'm looking at the right info here..https://ford.7zap.com/en/car/39/no/26/1562/15611/68177/   Click on the labels and it will take you to the Finis number.

Assuming you can get to it with a flame, try heating it up with a blow torch first before trying to undo it.

Thank you for the info very much appreciated. Afraid the nut has completely broken up, doubt there's any chance I will get it out. Will order a new one. Again thank you.
