Upgrading Alloys 17" to 19"

Featured Replies

Hi All

Im looking to upgrade my alloys to 19"

The ones im looking at are 19" 8.5J with an offset of 42

The standard 17 inch are 7.5J with a 55 offset ... will there be any issues ?

I will run 235/40/19 tyres which keeps the speedo correct to withing 0.3%

Im waiting on the alloy shop getting back to me with there thoughts on fitment .

Cheers

Got these beauties arriving today .... tyres as well .

whilst it will look good i would imagine the ride will be harsh and the chances of damaging the rims high as the metal will be closer to the road
