Hi. Great Forums.  We have 2 Ford Mondeos - one a 2007 Ghia Diesel and the other a 2007 (6 months older) Ghia X Estate Petrol. Not the exciting racing type of Fords, but exciting enough for us! The diesel we have had for about 7 years and apart from some work being done, due to its age/wear and tear and the most recent problem,  which Pete has given advice on, on another sub Forum on here - thanks again Pete, it has been a very good car and great on fuel. The petrol we have only had a couple of weeks, 1 one owner car beforehand, lovely cream leather interior. We put 4 new Pirelli Cinturato Blue tyres on it when we bought it, as did on the diesel - great tyres in the wet, but unfortunately due to corroded wheels, the seals leaked on two of the wheels on the petrol, so at this moment, both Mondeos are off the road 😞 Husband is trying to sort out the diesel and the clutch part to get this on the road at present and has put the diesel's wheels on the petrol Mondeo, so at least we have wheels and are on the road, then he'll take the corroded wheels to Kwik Fit, who have been brilliant, have the tyres taken off, sort them out and have them put back on again. Apart from a service needed on the petrol and an adjustment to the heat shield which is making a buzzing noise on acceleration, hopefully with these jobs all done, we should be back on the road with both Mondeos soon. I'm making the brews and keeping husband fed. The neighbours are enjoying watching as well! Eko
