MK 7 Fiesta Air con noisy

Featured Replies

I have exactly the same issue on my 2012 fiesta titanium i noticed the noise when my radio popped couple months ago. Same as comments above the pitch changes when revs go up/down. I have checked all pipe work. Compresser is fine and all bearings are good but still the noise persists.

any one had any joy with this yet?

I too would be interested to know if anyone else has solved this.

Ford replaced the compressor twice under warranty on my 2016 Fiesta ST but it didn't fix the issue. It still makes the noise now...

Hi there, I recently bought a 2012 fiesta and it seems like I have the same noise when turning the AC on. Only when driving, and with pitch variation when accelerating or slowing down.

Has someone been able to record that noise when it occurred ? I’ll try to record it if I can in a few weeks, when I’ll be back from vacation.

Hi- I had the same issue with our 2012 fiesta and traced the fault to the stretchy (fan) belt- once replaced, all was quiet again.

Noise comes from temperature sensor behind of a/c set plate. Small fan inside makes a noice.

Hi, did you find the fault? I am experiencing exactly this on my 2016 fiesta. 😭
