Fiesta stopped

Hi. I have a 59 plate tdci Fiesta titanium. 

It's did 114000 miles.

Never any noises from it

Today when going from a start to.turn right it stopped with a thud as if it jumped out of gear.

When turning key nothing happens at all. 

There's no sound of starter or engine trying to turn over.

The serpent  belt looks of but can't get into see cam

My experiences with belt failure (if it is that) is the engine will still turn but turn fast and starter will. Engage. 

 

What's you guys thoughts.

Going to phone rac  taxi service tmz to tow to garage.

If it is belt does the Fiesta handle it well with just few bent valves . 

Hopefully not too costly repair.
