Hi I have had an intermittent fault starting for a couple of months, I turn the ignition to start and nothing happens then it starts. This morning it wouldn't start at all, just a click noise - is it just as simple as a new battery required ?

    Sounds like classic battery problem, it will be the original so it could well be on its way out, get a proper load check done on it, not just a volt check.
