Ford galaxy engine pipe

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new here and also to Ford Galaxy ownership. I Have a 2010 titanium 2.0 tdci powershift. While checking my fluid levels today I notice this pipe as seen in the pics. Does anyone know what the function of this is and should it be connected to something as seems strange to have a pipe that is not connected anyway.

If anyone has the same engine and gearbox spec I'd really appreciate it if you could have a quick look and see if the pipe on yours is connected to anything. Thanks

Looks like a gearbox breather pipe. What gearbox do you have?

Edit, you got power shift i see now. In that case it's the breather pipe and doesn't connect to anything.
