Doed anybody have any idears as what would cause my 57 plate 1.6 TDCI to cycle the door locks without locking the doors flash the indicators when the cars is both running and stopped. Do not know if it does it when car is locked. I have replaced the gem unit with one garanteed for 3 months. Boot lock button on the dash only works when it wants too but everytime with the button on the key

    Check around for bad earthing tags, this can cause all manor of weird faults.

    I have the same problem. Keep locking the car and it unlocks. Or when I drive off i see the car door red light on and the interior light stay on, so I have to keep opening and shutting the door. According to the German Focus Forum, its a micro-switch on the door lock. You need to spray loads of WD40 into the lock to cure the issue.
