Mondeo 2015 Titanium X Drivers Footwell bulge

Hello,

I’ve just picked up a 2015 Mondeo Titanium X.

I have noticed that in the drivers foortwell at the back left corner, as you sit in it, there seems to be a raised ‘lump’ about 10-15cm square, right under where the carpet ‘post’ is where the carpet attaches. The lump is maybe 2cm higher than the rest of the footwell.

Could anyone tell me if there’s is the same or whether this is something I should be concerned about?
