Yet Another Pothole Victim...

Featured Replies

Driving to my friends house down the back lanes, come round a corner and start to speed up (that makes it sound silly, i went from about 20 to 25)

Tyre instantly goes flat, i limp to a spot where others can pass me (i was on a single track lane)

Just to make it a little worse, the tyre is three days old. £50 down the drain!

Ahhh how annoying! It's like driving around in a third world country by me with all the pot holes, it's a miracle I haven't suffered the same fate! The roads are !Removed! ridiculous!!!

Also, clean your boot out! slob :P

It's annoying since i've just spend £50 replacing the tyre after my last pothole incident!

I'm just not looking forward to telling my dad in about 10 minutes :(

Sucks Michael.

I absolutely hate potholes - went through a big one last night going round a corner which now has me paranoid that I've buckled something or the tracking's out.

I know we've had a few cold snaps recently but I'm fairly sure there are more of them now on the roads that at any point since I started driving.

i'm just !Removed! off. Of course i was going far too fast and i don't care about it (the result of me and my dads conversation)

Not a happy bunny

living 5 miles out of town, all country lanes, the amount of pot holes are ridiculous!

Its turned a 15min trip has turned into a 30min crawl. And the council are prioritising on the main roads so it will be a while!

Gutted for you Mike :(

Don't be afraid to put a claim in against your local authority - get back to the scene of the "crim" and take a pic using a rule/measuring tape to scale the picture and get receipts for the new wheel, tyre & tracking.

Ouch !

Must have been a massive pothole

By the amount of threads appearing like this, i am guessing the roads are a lot worse down south. There were a few up here but they have mostly been fixed now.

Do you plan on replacing the wheel or replacing the set?

Iam sick to death of pot holes i only had my tracking done last weekend has well and guess what its out again its a joke £175 year road tax to drive around on !Removed! roads like before went right into one could'nt of went around it traffic was to busy cars on each side of me the bang when i went over it did not sound to good i will have to have a good check tomorrow i think i will put in a claim for me tracking.

It is frustrating, but what is done is done.

I know never to use the road i used again!

you say the tyre is new mike, is it actually f$cked?

shame though, this is becoming too much of a regular thing.

I use this website called www.fixmystreet.com its a website were you can have a good moan to your loacl council about things your not happy with for exsample pot holes etc just take a look at how many complaints go in over pot holes.

the tyre seems OK, it didn't pop, it just deflated due to the gap between tyre and rim.

i have some new alloys sorted so i will keep you updated....

Sorry to see that Micheal :( The potholes round Cambridge are a !Removed! nuisance the council spends all of it's budget on bicyle lanes and a busway thingy so no monet for craters in the sodding road!

Oh and Flic, where've you been hiding! :P
