How Much Petrol Left When Warning Light Comes On?

Featured Replies

Hi,

It is a fusion 2 2003 1.4 petrol. When I got the car the light was on so I put £25 in & put another £25 when the light came on next time. On the face of it I got 28.5 miles per gallon, but if there was still for example another gallon in it, my miles per gallon would potentialy be more.

Thanks

Hi there mate. ihave a 1.6 petrol fusion. the tank holds around £42 full to brim. When petrol light comes on i have driven another 35 miles with out problems i did not risk any more. hope this helps.

I know this is unrelated to Fusions, but the warning light comes on on my Mk 7 Fiesta when there is 50 miles left in the tank!

Hope this helps!

Bye
