Ford Mondeo mk4 drivers door no power

Featured Replies

I recently changed the drivers door on my mk 4 Mondeo. The change over was great and everything fitted well apart from the fact no there was no power going into the door.

Being a a novice I went ahead and changed the control Module from the old door into the new door thinking this would solve the issue but it was a no go again

Just to add, it shows as drivers door is open however the speaker is working

leaves me baffled in what exactly should I be looking st. The previous door was working fine, could there be a wire fault in the door it’s self ?

any feedback would be greatly appreciated

youll want to check if there is power going to the door before you start on anything more complicated, you know the speakers are connected, but just now you could have anything from a blown fuse to broken wire so a duff replacement door.  Have you got a multi meter?
