Hi all, new to the forum but have a question. On saturday the rac came out to my car and said the rod was slipping off the pedal and needed a modification clip from ford. Bought one today from ford for £0.41 but how easy is it to fit when you dont really know anything about cars?

    This clip problem is an age-old design flaw. The RAC or the Ford garage should have fitted the redesigned one free. Once up on a hoist it is a 5 minute job. Normally RAC and AA vans carry the correct item, and only charge for the part, it's that common a job.
