Advice on purchase of 2017/18 Titanium Sport model

i am changing brand from bmw and looking to purchase a nearly new s max titanium sport auto with x pack. It will probably be an ex demo , with x pack and a few other extras. I have driven 2 cars and like the way the car drives but need some advice! please can someone help me :

1) is the 207bhp biturbo diesel worth buying over the 180bhp?

2) what extras are worth having? 

3) if the car is in drive mode and you are waiting in a queue on a hill does the car have park assist (i.e. applies the brakes to prevent the vehicle rolling back) as standard or an optional extra.

4) my friend has a vignale and said that the panorama roof cracked, is this a common problem?
