Iphone 3Gs - Compatibility

Featured Replies

Ive just purchased an iPhone 3GS.

When sync to Ford BT it wipes the names of other phones and renames the list as

PHONE_1

PHONE_10

Any ideas why this would do it?

yes get a nokia   welcome to i phone hell :( :(

My iPhone cant even find the car :(

It's because iPhone rules, so it deletes all your lists as it's number one and you don't need any other type of phone! :)

My iPhone works perfectly with my MK7, no issues what-so-ever. I've had other phones connected but never had this sorry man.

iPhone Bluetooth onnects fine, so can't comment on pairing.

I tend to not get too fancy as it asking for trouble. The easiest way in my mind is to just record commonly used voice tags to the car and not the phone voice tags. This works fine, and if you swap phones, it will still work seamlessly (as long as numbers on the phones are the same). Just had the iPhone in for repair and used my old reliable brick. Instant hook up (different bluetooth name) and voice tags work straight away.

Keep it simple folks.
