Eric Bloodaxe
Used to build Airfix aircraft models when I was a lad (a long long time ago now), but never achieved that sort of standard. Very nice indeed!👍
Nick Y
Nice Lancaster Ian. Yep, I build model kits (mostly Airfix) and have plenty of completed kits sitting on shelves etc.

Eric Bloodaxe
Just looking at the current price of this model on the Airfix site - £36.99. I think the price range was from 2 bob up to 17/6 when I last built them!
Stoney871
Better than the weekly ones they advertise on TV.Latest one is the Bismarck. If you complete it then you'll pay out about £1200 for it. Eric Bloodaxe
Yeah, that sort of thing really annoys me, like those instant loans at 1,294% apr or over 50 plans where people pay in more than they get back!😠

Nick Y
Airfix have actually got some great releases this year, including some of the classic kits like Concorde and the Concorde prototype. I need a lot more space to continue building models and displaying them. I've actually built 68 in just over 3 years and they vary in size. I usually opt for 1/72 scale kits but even some of the 1/144 scale kits I have built are quite large (airliners).
