Hi,

I have just picked up a new sport van in January and also looking at this, have you purchased one yet ?

Planning to install next month. See how it goes.. 🤔

Just fitted in my car. Works like charm and looks like factory accessory.

Purchased the kit, but car not with me yet.

What phones do you guys have?

Looking at pictures of this kit, it looks like my samsung s9+ would not sit flat due to the top of the kit being lower than the centre console in front of gearstick?

I have Samsung S8 and it fits fine.  I will post few more pictures and dimensions of charging area!

Edit: Installation manual.

Did you have to drill to install @Hair? I quite like this mod but I don't think I'd install if it requires drilling like some of the aftermarket options

Yes Dev, it requires 1 x 10mm hole, which, should you sell the car it will be covered up by the OEM rubber mat. So, for me its a win win.

Apart from that, it is plug and play. And, its a Ford Approved accessory.

And yes, it needs one hole but it will be under rubber mat if you ever need to remove charger.

I used drill like this: drill.jpg

And hole: hole.jpg

Just out of interest, is there anything directly underneath the hole that is in danger of being damaged when you drill?

Looking at the installation manual Hair posted (page 8), there is some wiring.
