Picked up a 2006, 1.6l Focus Zetec Climate the other day with only 59000 on the clock.

Bought the car for my daughter's family and since then, her partner has lost his job.

Bit the bullet and am going to keep the Focus and giving them my Micra.

Daughter is due to take driving test shortly (That's why I still had the Focus) and she will be the only driver in the family when she passes.

The car wasn't intended but I'm excited now. Looking at the cruise control addition for a later date. price for parts have risen since it was posted in 2012!

NB Didn't realise that photo would come up! It was taken over 40 years ago. Lol

    I will have loads of questions in the future without doubt.

    I'm delivering the Micra to my daughter in Norfolk next Sunday and swopping my legalities over to the Focus.

    Been in touch with my insurance (RAC) and I'm informed my insurance policy will not cover the Focus (Huh!)

    So I have to start a new insurance and cancel the Micra insurance

    Found one £100 cheaper than what the RAC offered as the replacement.
