Please could anyone advise 

I pick up my new kuga on Thursday and have been considering a dash cam 

The kuga has the rear camera fitted 

Could I fit a dash cam directly to Ford's existing unit and if so which unit is recommended

    It's a nice idea as it would be hardly noticable, however not currently a thing sadly.

    If you want to to be discreet, I recommend the a129 duo. It's a 'wedge' shape camera so just looks like a rain/auto lights sensor in the window. Depends how much you want to spend of course, as that one costs £130 (includes both front and rear). Its the best bang for buck in my opinion, but obviously you can get 2 cheap dash cams and run them as separate entities.
