    Learn the voice commands and switch to the advanced mode asap to avoid lengthy conversations with the car.

    You can"t change wallpapers like on sync2 but you can change the themes and menu colours using Forscan.
    You can try out the different themes available by going into the sync3 diagnostic mode and selecting them but they only stay on until you switch the car off then revert to the preset.

    Press start without clutch pressed (or key to position I) to turn on accessories.
    Go to AM or FM.
    Press and hold eject and scan at the same time for up to 20 seconds. Stereo will start into a speaker test. You can skip it or let it finish.
    A menu with about 9 different heading will come up.

    There is also an option to keep the diagnostic menu on the settings menu so you don't have to keep doing the button press routine to access the menu.
