Long Beam not working

Featured Replies

I have a bi-xenon 2017 ST version recently bought second-hand. I found out recently that the H1 long beam is not working; only the xenon bulbs are rising. I don't know if the H1 should work every time you use the high-beam - in conjunction with the bi-xenon- or only when the bi-xenon does not rise fast enough. I think I read somewhere that when you are flashing without low beam on, the H1 should fire-up. But this is not my case: the bi-xenon fire-up and rise almost at the same time and the H1 remains off. I have checked the fuses; no problems. Also no error code - or Ford isn't using faulty codes for lights? I had an old BMW e46 before; if any bulb/fuse was not functioning, a warning light was displayed.

The H1 bulbs are for cornering lights only.
The Zenon lamps operate as both dipped and high beams.
