Button On Dash Not Working!!

Hey I own a fiesta mk6 and my boot button on my dash isn’t working, tried looking up how to fix it but haven’t found anything helpful. Anyone know how to resolve this?!

    There are several threads on this...but the search on here is useless!

    If the boot doesn't pop from the keyfob either, then you need a new boot solenoid, either buy used from breakers for a fiver or new aftermarket ones can be bought for a tenner on ebay.

    If the boot does pop from the keyfob then you probably need a new dash button.  But check the wiring to the button is intact first.
