Engine won't start? ECU? Immobiliser?

Featured Replies

Turn ignition, ALL lights come on but nothing from starter motor/Engine..... nothing?

Can not see a red flashing light indicating the immobiliser is on.

Engine orange light is present. Amongst others.

Radio comes up with error asking for a code which I do not know?

I've been watching numerous YouTube videos but it does not have the same Fusion as mine.

My Fusion is 2009 1.6tdci 5 door diesel.

Any help will be greatfully received.

Thanks.

Adam

As a first start I would try the car battery, as they can just fail these days. Also check wires to the starter motor in case of a bad connection.

Hope this helps

P.S. I think most of the YouTube offerings will be the U.S. Fusion which is more like our Mondeo size.
