I seem to be having problems with keyfob and wanted to know if anyone has had anything similar or know a fix, I bought a new key within a year but it has stopped working, when I open the car door with the key manually I have a few seconds between that and putting the key in the ignition, I have replaced the battery in the fob twice which hasn't made any difference.
The car starts fine. I've tried reprogramming via the ignition but instead of getting the usual 2 toned sound upon success I get 1 single beep sound.

Does this make any sense, the key has been working fine for te last 6 months.
