I have a ford focus 1.4L 2009 and it has hard driven 120000km made by me. These last 20-30k the clutch is well put it this way, not new. I wanted to change the clutch but before that i wanted to ask you if this space in the differential is normal (video bellow). I hate it when you start or when you let go the throttle there is like clunk and you feel like you drive a bus, you can feel the play.  You know those old buses where the differential is so worn out that when it slows down as it burns unburned fuel it rocks the bus. If you have any idea what can make that much space in the transmission (diff). I feel that is why the car is rocking lets say 2 times when you let go the throttle in gear or the first time when i start, the clutch bits and you can feel the diff turn. Couple of mechanics told me this is normal. Yeah well it is and I have noticed it on other cars with 400k on the clock but what if I dont want that play? What if I want it to be like new. That's about the same as mine, there's always a bit of backlash in a diff .
