Using Forscan

Featured Replies

Does anyone use Forscan to analyse and maintain their cars, I have found it very usefull in detecting basic quick fix faults that display a fault code. But I would like to use it to look for a possible misfire on my 2014 Focus ST250, Forscan shows no fault codes. it idles roughly and every so often slightly misses. Some days it can be fine and others it can be "lumpy" for want of a better word. As far as I know its not flagged up for the wiring loom recall, but Im not sure it was even considered for the UK owners. It never stalls and doesnt fluctuate too much, the best description I can use is "lumpy".

The car has FSH and oil service every 6000 miles, and new genuine Ford plugs fitted at 38000.

Using Forscan and im guessing livedata what readings should I be looking at etc etc
