Hello,

Just got my a Ford Focus 2015 today and I updated SYNC from 3.8 to 3.10 thanks to the instructions on this forum. All good (yay!).

Quick one though. I see there are options in the SYNC screens to install apps from the USB thumb drive. Is there any place I can browse what apps are available?

Also, is there a way to use FordPass with SYNC 2 (like the My Vehicle Health Setup option)? I installed it on my phone, added my VIM and somehow it has this option for My Vehicle Health Setup, which made me assume that this is supported (probably not, though?)

    So there is no AppLink for SYNC 2.

    Which brings the question: How do you install applications on SYNC 2, since there is an option to install them?

    Perhaps the function was added but Ford never really developed it further?

    Hi,

    Old thread I know but was anything ever found. I can’t connect to vehicle health although imputing vin. Also no idea how to install the Ford app pass on the unit in the car.
