Eric Bloodaxe 1,000 Posted June 7 Yes, as most of us only post on here when we have a problem or query, we probably get the impression that Ford are worse than they are in reality. I was having a quick look at the JD Power survey, and most of the "premium" brands do not come out at all well. The survey showed that a significant proportion of problems now are not "traditional" engine/gearbox/suspension etc faults, but new technology either of the ICE or safety variety, and that a substantial number of owners therefore had little confidence in the speed limiting or autonomous driving systems which are being pushed by politicians. Going back to Ford, over the years I've had a few nightmare cars of various makes, but not many, and have generally found Fords to be ok.
