Fiesta 1.4l fuel consumption issues...

Featured Replies

Don’t know if this has been asked before, but hey ho, someone else asking might be a good plan haha!.

my dad today filled up my fiesta for me and he got 100 miles of fuel, when he got home it was reading that there was 95 miles left, when it’s only 2.3 miles to the garage.

anyone else had an issue of it over reading on how much fuel (in regards to miles) has been used?

I’m a newbie at owning a car so please be gentle lol!.

you cant expect it to be all that accurate. if you now drive along a motorway at a steady 55mph you might do 15 miles and the amount left only reduces by 10.

It's only an estimate lol. Goes off your average MPG and the level of fuel left in the tank to estimate the amount of miles left
