2006 Focus Oil Reset.

Featured Replies

Hello to you all.

I have recently serviced my car the other day and changed oil and oil filter etc.

My car is a very Basic 2006 1.4 Petrol LX model. On my dashboard it only has the mileage clock and the distance clock.

Today have just done the procedure for a oil reset inside of my car and it hasn't done anything???

Do I need to do a oil rest on my car at all after a service...???

Thank you.

I've not ever saw a service reminder on my 2010 focus; as result never had to reset one😅 but I have saw it on 2006 Volkswagen's etc.

The MK2 Focus doesn't have a service reminder sadly...yet another reason there were so many oil issues on the 1.6TDCI...

That's Shocking on your 2010 Focus!

you should do it because its got a trip computer on your dash and it tell you when your car needs a service.

It's not a feature; I've had fords diagnostics software on my own laptop and added all available features; windscreen washer fluid alert, auto locking when driving, caller I.D on centre screen aswell as radio station information on centre screen, auto rear wiper when put in reverse with front wiper active, walk me home light feature, speed limit alert feature,

There isn't a service alert option not even on the RS
