Just read something interesting on another site, not sure if it's well known and I've just missed it lol, but if not might be of interest on here.

Ford are changing the way they supply parts.  They're no longer going to sell parts to franchises, which the franchises can then add a percentage to when they sell them.  This means a lot of local Ford dealers will no longer be supplying parts to the public.

Instead there will be large central 'hubs' supplying Ford parts to garages, a bit like TPS do for VAG parts.  I believe these hubs will also supply the public though, unlike TPS.

Should mean cheaper parts, but less convenient in some cases...
