Ford Fiesta Seat slide stuck in place

Featured Replies

Hi first time on here. I have an issue with my front passenger seat on my 3 door 2014 Ford Fiesta 1.25 style 3DR. The seat is stuck in place at the most forward position and it cannot be moved. The bar to move the seat underneath is loose and is completely disconnected form the mechanism. I have tried to but the bar back in myself but with no luck. I feel that this is a safety hazard and was wondering if it would be covered under my warranty. From what i've been told by some people that i know is that it is a design fault by Ford on the seat but I'm not sure. If it isn't covered under a warranty i was wondering if anyone could give advice on how to fix myself. Thanks in advance.

It might be covered, however your car is 2 years out of warranty now so Ford would probably be charging you.

Have you had the seat out to try and fix it?

I have had the seat taken out and nothing was stuck in the rail so m not sure really what to try next.
