3 button key fob

Featured Replies

Hi has anyone had a problem like the one I have with my 3 button key fob for my Fiesta 2009 zetec, I need to change the battery in the fob and I inserted screwdriver in the slot but it will not open no matter how I try all that is happening is that the slot is getting bigger due to the plastic being soft. Any ideas welcome thanks

Well lots of views but obviously nobody has had this problem looks like a stanley knife job then

Smaller screwdriver worked for me. If you dont get it right down on the clip it wont open it. If you get it on right it should slide open without damaging it. My 2 keys that are both 8 years old (for our fiesta) that have never been opened were fine once I got a tiny screwdriver in there.
