Ford Fiesta Diesel Engine Ticking Noise

Hello All

My car is a 2011 Fiesta 1.6 TDCi (has done 97,000 miles) and the engine has recently developed an annoying and bit worrying ticking noise when running. The ticking follows the engine speed so increases with revs etc but only seems to start after about 15-20 mins of driving. Has anyone got any suggestions/idea's what it could be?

I also recently had an "fuel in oil " light come on the dash so took it for a quick service/oil change which got rid of the light but I'm wondering if it could be connected to the ticking. Other than the noise it seems to be running as normal.

Cheers for any help/advice?
