Bluetooth no USB MK7

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a Ford Fiesta 1.6 tdci MK7 from 2011.

It has the original headunit, Voice commands, AUX in and bluetooth for calls. It does not hav a USB port.

my problem is that i cannot play music over bluetooth. I read that there is a fix from 2012 for this, but to update my headunit then i need the USB. Is there a way i can get bluetooth in my headunit without changing the bluetooth module to bluetooth + USB? Because the i have to get a 'Ford IDS'? from some mecanik?

You can use the free Forscan program to complete most of the functions of IdS that you will ever need. That and a modified ELM cable would allow you to activate any new features you install
