Door access from outside.

Doubt it’d be huge, my guess would be at £200 max regardless of the issue. Speaking of which - can you just not unlock it or does the door handle do nothing?

It unlocks but you can't open it from outside, the thumb-press button depresses but the door won't open. It does open from the inside. Note, if you lock it from the inside, then you can't open it.

Most likely the door latch needs replacing...£20 from a breakers yard.
