cracked touch screen om ford mondeo Mk 4 titanium

Featured Replies

Evening Guys

I have recently cracked my touch screen on my mondeo i contacted a independent car stereo dealer

but because the aircon control is within the touch screen there is no other unit that can be fitted.

I then called Ford in Harlow (gates) and was told that the glass could not be changed. I would need a new

unit i asked how much and was absolutely astounded to hear it would be over £5000.00.

I managed to get the part number from him and will contact some dealers but dont hold out much hope

of getting a reasonable deal.

Has anybody else had the problem or know of a way through this as the car is only worth £3000.00

Thanks

Have you tried on ebay for a secnd hand unit?
