New Mk 8 ST Line X cannot connect to the cars hotspot

 I have had my New Fiesta 1 week having upgraded from a 2012 Titanium. All is ok except I cannot connect to the  cars hotspot via Ford Pass. I go through the link in the app to get the trial, get to the Vodaphone page and try to register, it then comes up with the error message that it is not available in this country. Well I am in the UK so should work. I rang Vodaphone gave them the VIn and Reg number of the car and they say it is a Ford problem as the APN is not correct. Just for interest I get the same error message on both iOS and Android.  Rang the dealer and he has no idea.  Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem. going to send the screen shot to Ford pas this morning.

    Did you ever solve this problem?

    I have also been told to change the APN settings. Nobody, including Ford, can solve my problem on a Focus MK4 2019 with Sync 3.
